Bottle, 33 cl. (home, bought @ Bierloods) Hazy darkgolden color, white head. Aroma malts, bit spice, sweet. Medium body. Taste bit spices, sweet, malts, and hops. Good for a first brew.

Very thick-set, irregular, just off-white head, extremely tenacious, over dirty yellow-orange beer. Dry, and at the same time sweet-alcoholic nose, betraying white candi sugar. Some herbal notes, quite malty overall. Sweetish main taste, with some spicy touches. Generally speaking a bit bland, the very active carbonation is oddly giving the most of the depth. Bit unpleasant almond flavour warming up. Not very well attenuated, but quite spritzy. Medium bodied. Quite sweet; sample probably very young, might ripen quite a bit in a positive way. I believe the info that the beer is home-brewed ( with a licence, mark ), but I would wonder very much to learn that the yeast hasn’t had its origins @ Van Steenberge.
