Lovely aroma of toast, dark roasted fruit, and a little chocolate. The flavour has chocolate, lots of caramel malt, roasted nuts, and enough hops at the end to make it interesting. Full body, nice carbonation. AmicusBeer (18), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Very malty and sweet. Very different than it was prior to Cool brewing it. I like the new taste. Compares favorably to Munich dunkles. Better than many original dunkles I tried in Austria. Overall an excellent version. VeloVampire (491), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Aroma of roasted malts and a bit of hoppiness too. Flavours much the same, but with surprisingly light body given the colour of the beer. Toasted black malt, some nice hoppy bite to balance and a lingering faintly bitter finish. Refreshing. An enjoyable pint, and Michael’s work is most commendable. Good show.
