The third beer on the second day of RBESG 2008. <br />Dark brown &#40;almost black&#41; coloured, small beige head, caramel nose. Roasted malt taste with notes of chocolate, caramel and fruits. Very smooth with soft carbonation.

on tap at the brewpub. Hazy deep dark brown, nearly black colour, large beige head. Malty nose. Full-bodied with flavours of roasetd malt, caramel, chocolate... Very malty, but not too sweet. This is balanced perfectly. I could drink this all night long.

[on tap at brewpub] Roasty aroma with vanilla and a little sweet malt. Opaque brown with a tawny sheet on top that dots the glass as the beer is consumed. Almost sherry-like roasty/toasty flavour with definitely some hops in there. Smooth, medium body, moderate carbonation, clean finish.

Hazy dark brown beer with a small but lasting off-white head. Malty caramel aroma, with some hops and a touch of prunes. Sweet with roast malt flavour, and a hint of hops in the finish. One of the more boring Czech dark beers.

&#40;6/28/08&#41; Draught at the brewpub in St&#345;íbro. Very dark brown with a bubbly beige head. Aroma is malty with some toastiness, maybe also roasted notes, coffee, and licorice hints. Sweetish malty flavor with light roastiness, some coffee, some chocolate notes and a slightly drier finish. Medium to full body. Quite good.
