Aroma is lightly spicy, with a big kick of banana and citrus. Taste is yeasty, and creamy in the mouth, well carbonated, with flavours of citrus, cloves and banana. Lots of banana, in fact, following long into this beers beautiful finish. This is the best hefeweizen I’ve had. Stunning! Hopefully this will be sold by the bottle in the near future...I would buy it all the time, and so would you. mustang3 (254), Whitby, Canada
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 1, 2005 On tap @ Volo. Great hazy yellow colour with a moderate white head. Fantastic aroma of lemons, cloves and bananas. Flavour is the same with each seeming to take its turn to predominate, delicous. Yeats is present in the flavour and in the somewhat doughy mouthfeel. Excellent beer. Kathy (241), Washington DC, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 21, 2002 Amazing sweet, fresh candy aroma (of cotton candy). Unfiltered gold color. Very sweet, but pleasant (not cloying) flavor with a little bit of candy in the flavor, with some lemon (just a hint) in there, too, for good measure. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 24, 2009 Tap @ Volo. A thick, frothy white head sits atop this hazy straw colored beer. Citrusy, banana wheat esters fill the nose and make way quickly to a refreshing syrupy, yeasty-fruity german white taste that is just sublime. The mouthfeel is all fine bubble and incredibly refreshing. If all wheat beers could be this good, barley would be long gone. crushinat0r (227), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

I love wheat beers and I was not dissapointed. It has a stronger banana taste than some other wheat beers I have had. A very refreshing beer and I will definitely have it again when I go back. A great wheat beer. joeec5 (204), bayonne, New Jersey, USA
