Feb 29, 2004 On tap at the Winking Judge, Hamilton, Ontario. YUMMY! A great weiss beer! Aromas of apples, bananas, and peaches? Hazy golden body that looks as good as it tastes. This is the best wheat beer I have had to date!

Aug 25, 2009 On tap at Beer Bistro (Toronto, ON). Pours a hazy caramel color with one finger bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of banana, clove, honey, wheat, yeast, grain, some light floral esters. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of caramel, honey, clove, spice, banana, grain, yeast. Light to medium body with a pleasing light floral finish. Nice ale.

Jul 15, 2008 Bu en fut (20 oz) à Volo (Toronto) le 9/7/08. Jaune blanchie bien brumeuse, petit collet. Arome de blé malté, épice sucré, banane et lilac. Goût de blé et d’agrume, un peu d’épice et d’herbe, très doux et plaisant. La plus aromatisé et la plus savoureuse des hefes que j’ai dégusté!

Oct 22, 2006 had it on tap at many places, Shaghai cowgirl was the last, lotsa head good banana, clove nose, full body golden colour with definate haziness. Great pint

Aug 13, 2002 Updated: May 12, 2003Cloudy orange color. Great aroma of orange, banana, light fruit and even bubblegum. Some hints of yeast and a very light spiciness. The body is spritzy with a light roasted hop beginning. Dries quickly towards the end and is somewhat light. There isn't any tartness but there is a light tangy quality rounded with some orange notes. Very nice wheat, welcome back.

Mar 22, 2004 Pours a light hazy yellow color, moderate white head. Aroma of banana, clove, wheat, and some yeast. Mouthfeel is incredibly soft, very smooth. Typical weizen flavors, but they come across so nicely from the palate. Quite enjoyable.

Sep 2, 2002 Cloudy harvest gold w/ good head & lacing. Very aromatic: yeasty, fruity (banana), cloves. Wonderful mouthfeel: fluffy & creamy but also light. Sweet malty flavours w/ lovely banana & lemon notes. Great beer.

Aug 27, 2008 Had on tap at a couple of places in Toronto. Tangy, lots of citrus, with wheat malt, banana, and spice. Relatively heavy and rich, but the lemon/sour balances the sweetness. This is certainly a decent hefeweizen with no outstanding faults, but I can’t for the life of me figure out why it is rated best in the world on this site. I don’t think it compares with the better Bavarian-made wheat beers.
