Banana, caramel, pepper, grass and citrus are blended well into a lovely refreshing beer. It's very well balanced throughout, to the very nice dry finish. Great Hefeweizen. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Poured slightly cloudy yellow color with a slight orangness to it. Aroma was spicy and citrusy. Mostly a lemon aroma in this one. This was real easy to drink and one of the best wheat beers ive had. The corriander shows on the plaate with the banana and the nice balanced mildly acidic finish. DerWeg (778), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Solid cirtusy feel, zingy and almost thick, with a hint banana & some clove spice, balanced integrated sweetness and linger hint spice. Not over yeasty at all Paradoxically simple yet expressive. Seems a little different each time.
Had to re-rate this since it was sooo good for its style, I had a mediocre pint long ago and this last one compares to th best Germany trip pints I remember. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hits all the right notes: banana, clove, citrus, light malt, all in a darkish, cloudy but crisp body with a beautiful white head. A patio beer, although I enjoyed it in the winter. Simple and direct, it’s a balanced and refreshing take on a classic style. I’m proud and amazed to think it’s brewed here. wnp22 (682), Toronto (Roncesvalles Village), Ontario, Canada

Taste has background banana taste, with typical subdued wheat taste. Very nice. JesseM (678), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 31, 2008 On tap at the Castle. Pours a very nice hazy gold, with a large white head. The aroma is a very enticing mix of yeasty esters and malty goodness. The classic banana and clove. Taste is the same, but the sweet malt touch, almost a bit grainy, has a delicious quality all its own, sort of "barnyard"-esque, something I’ve never had in a wheat beer ever before. The mouth-feel is fuller than you’d expect, almost sticky, like chewy malts, kind of reminiscent of bread. Maybe it’s just because it was fresh, but this seems like the pinnacle of what a good hefe should be. Best in the world? I can’t say, but it’s the best hefe-weizen I’ll probably ever come across. It didn’t blow me away, yet the more I think about it, the more I like it. Good thing this is a staple at the Castle because I want more! dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

I enjoyed this immensely and finished it off rather quick. Hazy golden body similar to the hoegaarden. With a taste so light and refreshing. Delicious hefe!
