It is not my favourite beer I have ever tasted, but it is a perfect example of the style and definitely in my top 10. It has great complexity, with a mouthfeel which rolls over your tongue multiple times exposing the depths of its flavours ranging from citrus to banana and other various flavours. A wonderful beer. Had on tap many times and enjoyed every last ounce.
Drinking from a can right now. Certainly doesn’t live up to the perfection of the on-tap version, oh how I wish it were bottled and not canned! I’m still going to enjoy the 12 cans I bought though because it’s not bad. Great to be able to take home. Loses a bit of complexity in the palate, and the aftertaste is somewhat muted in comparison to the on tap version. Still silky smooth, I have a little bit of a cold right now and therefore the flavours and aroma cannot be assessed perfectly, but it seems to have lost a little bit of the spice that is prominent in the tapped version while still retaining some nice banana flavours. Hazy golden body that looks as good as it tastes. Wonderful fruity aftertaste lingers on the palate. This is the best wheat beer I have had to date! It’s the same wheat beer made by the Denisons brewpub which used to be rated number 1 in the world before they shut down. Still Number 1 as far as I’m concerned. The smell of banana’s hits you right away and you are not dissapointed with the taste. It’s rich and full of flavour. Sensational and available at the biermarkt Bolo (12), Ontario, Canada

Since 1996, I've been a loyal sampler. You gotta open up somewhere. Don't take this away from me. Easily as good, if not better, than Hoegarden. It has a nice citrus after taste without being overpowering, and the corriander flavour is mild but noticable. If it is on the menu, and you like wheat beer, this is definately for you. mrkimchee (1414), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

This is the best Weizen I’ve had out of Ontario. Beautiful straw like colour with a very resilient head. Heavier on the banana/bubblegum and less cloves. This pub is a required stop for any beer hunter going through Toronto. GregClow (2496), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

I'm SO glad that this beer has been revived after the closure of Denison's Brewpub earlier this year. It remains a world class example of it's style, with the classic banana and clove combo in the aroma, wonderful fruit and yeast in the flavour, and that amazingly crisp and lingering finish that keeps you coming back for more. I can't wait for patio season to start so I can sit in the sun on a warm afternoon and enjoy a pint or two (or three...) of this. Ahhhhhh...
