pint at the castle on king. very hazy golden with a lovely off white head that lasts forever and leaves perfect lacy rings all down the glass after every sip. aroma is pure hefe with lotsa clove, banana, yeasty goodness. the aromas are good enough on this that its the kind of pint you could never sip and leave the pub saticfied after several hours of quaffing alone. the flavours and perfectly balanced and huge for a hefe. il admit that i questioned the rating of this brew before having it and i was quite willing to completely flan it with the typical hefe 3.2 and be done but the stuff completely blew me away. i must aploigize to the company i was with during this pint because im sure that i was meant to be included in the conversation that was occuring during my time with this brew but that blank look you saw on my face was pure shock at the fabulousness of typically mundane style brought into new light. thanks castle for making this one availible in my area.

On tap @ The BeerBistro Toronto: Bright but cloudy yellow colour. Banana, cloves and fresh friut radiate from the glass. Powerful malty, yeasty flavours are harmoniously set against a citrussy spine. Complex and quaffable. Superb!

a wonderful beer poured bright cloudy yellow. a little spicy and a little fruity goodness and lots of wheat and yeast flavour. but i must say the aroma was the best part with hints of caramel and a perfect balance. definitely one of my favourite beers.

Summer Gathering 2003: Massive thanks to Oakes for toting that impressive growler down for us all to sample. Loved this one--Perfect clove/banana nose; Cloudy yellow with a nice white head; semi-sweet banana-y flavor, creamy.

Excellen weizen aroma with lots of banana. Nice color. Definitely one of the better weizens in North America, even when it was snowing outside the brewery! The only knock I would have is that it seemed a bit thin on the finish.

Amazing sweet, fresh candy aroma (of cotton candy). Unfiltered gold color. Very sweet, but pleasant (not cloying) flavor with a little bit of candy in the flavor, with some lemon (just a hint) in there, too, for good measure.

WOW! this was great. It was a surprise for me when I walked into the Mill Street Brewery yesterday to see this on tap there. I wasn't aware of it's high appeal at all until I read a little write up that the girl at the counter gave me after I was half done my sample. She also told me that it might be in bottle form in the fall but she didn't know for sure if it would happen. Now to the beer Bananas were obvious to me and the sweetness was smooth and beautiful. Later that day I went to Smokeless Joes for the first time with a friend. I saw it on tap and took a much larger sample! It made me happy. The End.

Had the opportunity to try this one on tap when I was in TO. A beaty weissbier. Nice murky yellow body with big lasting whitehead. Flavours of wheat and banana. Has almost a creamy taste. A nice finish.
