Commercial Description:
Hopheads! Here you go! At 45 International bittering units, Cascade hops dominate our full-bodied Pale Ale. We use a touch of malted wheat and a dash of Carastan barley malt to fortify against the hop’s sharpness.

Draught. Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy, white head, diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (toasted grain), average hops (flowers, pine, grapefruit), and light yeast (sweat). Medium bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Medium bronze body with a frothy head. Lighty citrus hoppiness in aroma that is refreshing. Easy hoppiness in flavor under-delivers.

Not an exceptional pale ale, but one that I was impressed to see at a ’typical looking’ brewpub. Cooper colored with a citrus hop aroma. Flavor is caramel sweet malt with more citrus hoppiness, enough hop flavor to keep you satisfied. Very well balanced beer.

Draft at Denver Chophouse. Amber bodied. Nose is hopped but is subtle. There’s some light caramel and sweet malts. Taste is caramel, sweet maltiness, light hops and some hop spiciness. Body is medium with a lingering bitterness. Ends with more caramel, hops and citrus fruits.
