redlight (1026), Winter Park, Florida, USA Oct 15, 2007 Honey malts aroma, cereal grains, sweet smelling. Pours very light blonde. Crisp flavor, very light, some honey malts, and hints of noble hops. Not bad. BeerandBlues2 (2370), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 8, 2007 Draught. Pours clear yellow with a small, fizzy, white, diminishing head, fair lacing.
Aroma is average malt (cereal, meal), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes
of butter and corn. Light bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation and a chalky finish.
Average duration, light sweetness, acidity and bitterness.
Ernest (4169), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jul 1, 2007 Draught, Denver ChopHouse. Head is mostly lasting. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), trace hops (herbs), with a note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Like the dark lager, it’s too sweet and not a particularly clean rendition. The DMS should please Bud drinkers, I suppose. BillKismet (1337), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 26, 2007 Blonde-bronze body w. a decent head. Strikes a hop/malt balance and is fairly easy drinking, but bland.
