BeerandBlues2 (2630), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 8, 2007 Draught. Pours clear amber with a spare, frothy, off-white head, diminishing, spare lacing.
Aroma is average malt (grain, bread, nutty), light hops (grass), and average yeast (sweat, leather). Light bodied, soft carbonation, thin texture and a metallic finish. Short
duration, light sweetness, acidity and bitterness. BillKismet (1477), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 30, 2007 Brilliant red-amber hue. Mild hop/malt aroma and flavor, quite well-balanced. A good example of the style, but boring just the same. TheBeerGod (2874), Newport News, Virginia, USA Nov 11, 2006 Draft at Denver Chophouse. Rubyish copper. Nose is malty with caramel, spicy hops and light nuttiness. Taste is caramel, malt, spicy hops and a slightly stronger nuttiness. Body is medium with moderate carbonation. Finishes with more spicy hops, caramel, and light nutty flavors. jcwattsrugger (4087), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Oct 29, 2006 on tap-pours an off white head and red color. Aroma is sweet medium malt. Taste is sweet medium/light malt, secondary hops. OK carbonation. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jul 17, 2006 A nice little session ale. Has a well balanced flavor, with some sweet caramel and a hint of butterscotch like sweetness. Hops follow through after the inital malt blast, drying out the flavor with the right amount of bitterness.
