Draft sample at Knoxville Brewers Jam 2009. Poured a hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting and good lacing. Moderate sour citrus and leaves aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

Deep yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Light paper and a hint of citrus hops. Paper, very light semi sweet malt. Aggressive carbonation and a tad thin, but a pretty nice beer to style.

Gold, with a loose white head. Bready toasty aroma Flavor is pretty much what the aroma suggests, with a bit nice fruity notes thrown in. Pretty tasty, actually. Sampled at Brewgrass 2009.

Solid yellow with a smooth creamy white foam. Aroma is lovely fruit. The taste is nicely malted, crisp fruit, a light sour finishing note. A great Kolsch.

On tap at Acoustic Coffeehouse. Pours a solid gold, bubbly, with a pretty well formed head. The aroma is semi tart with some corny malts and assertive woody hops. Cereal is noted. The flavor is decent actually. I wasn’t expecting much here, but it’s pleasantly creamy with a solid malt base. It’s not really vegetal in the flavor. Not much going on here, but it’s clean, refreshing, and not corny. Good take on a not so good style.
