Noogfest ’08. The body was medium gold. The aroma was floral with some bread and carrots. The taste was bitter bread crust with some celery notes.

Dark gold, thin ring of foam. Fruity, slightly toasty aroma. Flavor is also fruity, with note of apple and grape juice. Clean, mildly peppery finish. No bad or "off" flavors. On tap at Preservation Pub, Knoxville.

The aroma is way off for the style but not altogether horrible as it’s slightly citrusy. There is definitely malt and it’s the corn type but there is also an ale like smell to it as well as metal and a touch of sour funk. The appearance is dead on it’s golden with a little hazy and a big head. The flavor is like the aroma with a soapy, astringent finish. The palate is typical for the style. Overall it’s an off beer but somehow it’s got enough to it to make it sort of interesting.

Pale yellow, sticky white foam. Aroma is thick cereal, grassy, corn. Taste is more thick cereal body, corn, grassy. Too heavy for a light summer lager still good.
