Good god - what am I drinking - Cheese??? Pours a white, lasting head with a cloudy, sediment-filles head and a orange-gold body. Nose is elusive - somewhat hemp, perfume and yeasty. Peppery flavour, grassy and tart. Lemon, yeasty finish. Very good. GonZoBeeR (2163), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

Golden Orange, with a pearly white head with gorgeous honey-comb bubbles that were perfectly aligned one next to the other. I like that I lot, it taps into my cathesian side...
Loaves of bread and orange juice, with just a hint of holiday spices.
Wheaty and fruity, the citrus aftertaste reminded me of mandarin oranges in light syrup. Quite a refreshing wit and well done from yet another French brewer I’ve never heard of before.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 12, 2008 Enjoyed with a nice French goat cheese. Initially pours with a creamy head, some chill haze in the yellow body. Retention is good. Taste is slightly sweet with a bit of coriander, melons and grapes. I had know idea this was a witbier, it tastes like a much darker beer than it appears. Very rich with alcohol and yeast. A bit dry in the mouth. The beer is a nice complement to the cheese. Towards the end of the bottle the pour becomes much cloudier with the yeast. Sent in a picture. Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 27, 2005 Cloudy gold, raising a nice 1cm foamy keeper proposing light and elegant lacing. Slightly tart, soft orange and zesty citrus nose, softly spicy yeastiness pairing along weirder grassy influenced vinegar eggs and ice cream reminding flavors. Natural wheatiness making it akin to cereals. Pepper and curacao oriented yeast hints while hops add a spiciness of their own, lemony. Grainy, desserty and with a cheesestick fit that sets it apart. Effervescent big bubbled light-medium body. Most interesting. One of those event-worthy never heard of, could be gimmicky, beers that can’t but give you absolutely 0 expectation, but come up as far above average and confirms you’re in the right business as a beer seeker. fiulijn (7520), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 7, 2008 Corked bottle Hazy blond color, with a thich foam and a persistent perlage. It has a light but original aroma, perfumy, of dry grass (not as strong as hay), old times soap, sweet cereals. It has a good mouthfeel, good body structure, with sweetish lean malt flavor, and a light fruity freeshness and a minimal yeast character. So far, so good, but if only it had more bitterness and some aromatic hop too, it would be very good. One interesting French beer. MartinT (5080), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2005 The Lure: A lofty, lingering head sits comfortably atop the curaçao spicy fruitiness. Soft yeast caresses the citrus fruit, all indicative of a twist on the Belgian wit theme.
The Festivities: Ornate orange zest and citrusy wheat bulge from the incarnate carbonation. A soft and cuddly orientation for a dry and fruity temptation.
Transcendence: Moss-covered stone walls form a beautiful portrait. beerbuzzmontreal (2934), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
