Bottle. Black colour with huge creamy light brown mostly lasting head. Malty aroma with notes of chocolate. Sweet flavor with roasted notes. Creamy palate.

Collapsing dirty-greige head over deep, deep redbrown, nearly black beer. Slightly sourish stout nose, burned malts, bit of chocolate. Sweet from the malts, smoked as from cigarette, roasted as from a really good beef roast crust. Despite the sweetness quite dry, bit sticky even, quite slick. Aftertaste is sweeter. Good black beer, well in the style of the brewery. Thanks, Seb!

Black colour. Has a light brown head, mostly lasting. Aroma has notes of smoke, burnt, laqurice. Flavor is moderate sweet and heavy bitter. Mediu to full body, creamy texture. Soft carbonation. An okay french stout.

Bottled (BB 12/2008)
Muddy brown, creamy tan head. Lightly roasted, chocolaty, fruity and vegetably nose. Ashy flavor: tobacco, cold coffee. Dry aftertaste. A little bit like Portuguese "pretas" - just with fullier body. Not very ordinary French.

Bottle. Black colour with a large off white head. Rich aroma and taste of roasted malts and chocoalte. Nice oily finish.
