Grainy, a little DMS, cloudy yellow. No real hop bitterness. Some sourness on the palate, rather cidery. Inexpertly brewed, but the fact that someone started a micro here of all places is interesting. This beer strikes me like a first homebrew (flawed pale ale); the other beer I saw from this brewery is a coffee-cacao stout (a second homebrew if I ever heard of one); with any luck they’ll discover hops next. I’ll keep an eye on them.

Small spiciness in the background. Fla: Sour berries. Extreme tartness in the finish. I also noticed a natural (almost honey-like) sweetness. Ov: I really loved this one! Too bad it had little too much carbonation. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 12, 2009 Bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris, 5.9% ABV Cloudy blond color; the big head reduces quickly. Strange aroma, with strong Bretts and bitter citrus fruits. Dry mouthfeel, extremely acidic, with some citrus fruits, lemon juice; no need to talk of malt and hopping here. I’m pretty sure they didn’t want to brew a Lambic, but at least it didn’t end up so far from some original one, and has a perverse pleasant side. pivo (2537), Germany
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jul 14, 2007 Sulfury nose with drainpipe aromas, murky dark yellow color, fizzy head like on an Alka-Selzer glass: snap, crackle, burp. Artificial, plastic tastes. Drying effect at the end. Watery body. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 11, 2007 Bottle. Nice little saison. Nice sour/acidic notes in aroma and throughout the flavour. Lovely citric, peppery finish, in fact quite citrusy it has to be said. I liked it a lot. MesandSim (5958), London, Greater London, England

75cl bottle at Chrisfest. Odd stuff and I really enjoyed it. Bonkers lemony acidity all round. Puckery sourness and almost lambic like. Maybe just a little on the harsh side but inbetween a few beers I didn’t think too much of this cleared out the palate really well and left me refreshed and ready for the next beer.
