Huge fluffy head, just lemon-yellow tinted, irregular, over fully hazy &#40;unripe&#41; lemon yellow beer, and a good collection of UFO’s. Wheat, farmyard odours, vineleaves, bit of citrus. Citrus, lemon, herbal, garden herbs, little smoked touch, little point of acidity. In the finish, traces of ginger and lavender. Spritzy, thirst-quenching, <i> vivifiant </i>, light, inciting to drink &#40;a lot&#41; more. This is, eyes closed, the best REAL Saison I’ve tasted in years. This is short of sensational, and that from France&#033;

Bottle, 33 cl. &#40;bought &#64; mi orge mi houblon&#41; Hazy yellow color, with a white rocky head. Aroma spice, sour, bit wood, fruit touch. Medium body. Taste a bit wood, spice, fruit. Good.

Bottle 33cl. [ Courtesy of Hughie and Mrs.Hughie ]. Unclear light yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, lime shell, acidic. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. &#40;260708&#41;

<i>A Mes rate: Bottle supped in the Harlequin in Sheffield thanks to Hughie.</i><br />Very cloudy with a slim white head. Sweet and fruity aroma with some slight spice. Similar flavour but with a pronounced sourness. It drinks almost like a Berliner Weisse. I’m hoping this is intentional as I am rating as such. It certainly does not come across as being infected at all. Plenty of character, dry and thirst quenching. I rather enjoyed it although no one else seemed to.<br /><br />Thanks to Mr.s Hughie for bringing this back from her yoga extravaganza.

Bottle opened at the Harlequin, Sheffield, on RateBeer Valley of Beer Crawl ’08. Many thanks to Mrs Hughie who brought this back from her yoga holiday in France. Yellowish grey with a small white head. Not a pretty sight. Sour aroma of aspirin. Bitter cidery taste with some citrus. Odd beer which suffered in comparison with some wonderful brews from around the world that were being sampled simultaneously. Sorry, dear French friends, your beer doesn’t quite make it internationally.
