Sep 1, 2008 Smells of citrus and coriander. Color is very light yellow. Taste is light on the spice and citrus. The body is bery light, almost watery. I’m not a big fan but it’s a great hot weather beer.

Sep 1, 2008 Hazy yellow color witha nice white head the leaves bits of lacing and a ring around the glass. Wonderful aromas of clove, citrus, chamomile, bread, and some banana. Taste almost has a bit of Cream of Wheat to it to start, followed by a nice citrus zest, perhaps from coriander, followed by combination of bread dough and clove. Carbonation is borderline high, with a medium body that has gives it good substance but still amazingly drinkable. Really never thought I’d like a Witbier this much, but this one just knocks it out of the park. Big thanks to doubleo for the bottle!

Sep 1, 2008 8/17/08 On draught at the Dog & Pony, Renton, Wa. Aroma is citrusy sweet with strong plasticy/bubblegum phenols and a somewhat smoky clove note. Appearance is very clear yellow with a well maintained white head. Flavor is starchy and fruity with a slightly earthy character. Mouthfeel is obviously starchy, medium bodied with a odd slightly acidic tang. Overall, good flavor complexity, but the starchy character kind of kills the potential.

Aug 31, 2008 Aroma is very sweet, carbonated, some Belgian yeast, wheat, banana, and creaminess.
Taste is slightly spicy. Some coriander, some spiciness beside that I can recognize.
Sweet.
Finish is semi-wet. Definitely less dry than a lot of wits, but strangely watery.
Decent.

Aug 31, 2008 Again, Celticbrew brings some of the best beers! Shared with Buddy Steve, myself and everybody’s friend, the fabled Drbayern.Poured a light yellow, with lace around the top. You get a clean, banana aroma. taste shows clove, banana and a hint of orange. It was also somewhat yeasty.

Aug 30, 2008 22oz bottle acquired in trade with Dunk (thanks!). Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of some banana, wheaty, and spices. Tastes of banana, spices, wheat, and lighter citrus.

Aug 29, 2008 Bright yellow-gold with a slight haze; sudsy, bleached-white head. Great texture -- rich yet quenching and refreshing. Bready, doughy, slightly sweet malts had hints of honey. Flowery, herbal hops had some nice aromas. Delicate spices surfaced in the background. Fairly clean with a decent bit of herbal bitterness. Drying in the aftertaste. Pleasant beer.

Pours a light hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is a light nice bannana. Flavor is light bannana and a light citris. Mouth feel is a soft, light body with med. carbonation. Not bad.
