Commercial Description:
Deschutes Brewery's summer bond Street Series offers yet another refreshing, hot weather quencher to complement Twilight Ale. This unique Belgian-style wheat beer was brewed with zested Curacao orange peel and just enough spices to keep your taste buds guessing. Our brewers tinkered with the recipe for months at the Public House in Bend, Oregon, before perfecting what will arrive on shelves in 22-ounce bottles this June. One prototype of the Wit was sampled at Portland's Spring Beer and Wine Festival in March, where it earned a gold medal.

Bottle. Murky and light yellow with a white head. Wheaty aroma with some spicy aroma notes. Light bodied. Slight spice. An earthy malt flavor. Very bubbly. Nice.

Bottle:   Pale straw, rather clear, rocky white head that settles quickly, spotty lacing, moderate carbonation.   Not all that "white beer" like.   More yellow than white.   Wheat malt on the nose, very subtle spices.   Actually this one is quite spicy on the tongue.   Somewhat mealy, certainly wheaty.   Very much like most American examples, but perhaps spicier and cleaner.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Decent beer, probably spicier than it is wheaty.   Some citrus like spices linger.   Not bad.

22oz bottle:
Appearance: Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with nice white head and some lace.
Aroma: Spicy aroma with some belgian yeast aroma. Scents of orange and banana
Taste: Spice flavors with some citrus hops.
Overall: This is a nice beer. I am not a fan of wheat beers, but this is well balanced and not overpowering with wheat aroma/flavors.

Lemon colored pour with 2 finger white head. Aroma = bit citrusy, Im guessing its the grains of paradise im smelling that is giving this a sort of straw aroma, its different, but it smells good, It almost has a weak saison aroma about it. Taste = get a slight does of what you would expect, a bit of lemon, touch of orange, but the grains of paradise really comes through, and gives this wit a more mellow smoothed out flavor. mouthfeel is medium. Overall this is a really great wit, probably the best i have had. Even though I would have expected an anniversary wit to be bigger all over, its still a great beer.

(bomber). Golden color with light cloudiness. Medium white head. Wheat aroma. Diluted, "watered down" wheat flavor. Short duration. Smooth finish. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

pours golden with a light haze and white head. Aroma of some orange peel, light spicy nose with hints of coriander and yeast, a little too thin. Flavor, medium to low carbonation, coriander is upfront with hints of orange peel and some yeasty mouthfeel.
