Commercial Description:
Deschutes Brewery's summer bond Street Series offers yet another refreshing, hot weather quencher to complement Twilight Ale. This unique Belgian-style wheat beer was brewed with zested Curacao orange peel and just enough spices to keep your taste buds guessing. Our brewers tinkered with the recipe for months at the Public House in Bend, Oregon, before perfecting what will arrive on shelves in 22-ounce bottles this June. One prototype of the Wit was sampled at Portland's Spring Beer and Wine Festival in March, where it earned a gold medal.

Hazy yellow color witha nice white head the leaves bits of lacing and a ring around the glass. Wonderful aromas of clove, citrus, chamomile, bread, and some banana. Taste almost has a bit of Cream of Wheat to it to start, followed by a nice citrus zest, perhaps from coriander, followed by combination of bread dough and clove. Carbonation is borderline high, with a medium body that has gives it good substance but still amazingly drinkable. Really never thought I’d like a Witbier this much, but this one just knocks it out of the park. Big thanks to doubleo for the bottle!

22 oz bomber purchased at the Wine Store on Water Street in Port Townsend, Washington. Pour is hazy yellow white, a slight greenish tint with a one inch white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of wheat, lemon citrus, earthy hay and coriander. Some slightly sweet yeastiness in there as well. Nice nose. Taste is wheat, spicy coriander, lemon lime citrus and a great grassy hay graininess. All really well balanced. Perfectly bright taste and clean finish. This is a very tasty wit. Please make this a regular lineup beer, it’s amazing.

~Pours a light cloudy yellow color with small to medium sized creamy white head. ~Scent of wheat coriander and yeast. Slight citrus. ~Spicy wheat taste with mild banana. Kind of gets a slight flavor of vanilla when warmer. Can’t really taste the orange peel, maybe a little. ~Light creamy feel. Clean finish ~I think this is a good beer. I like the fact that it isn’t like a typical witbier. The fact that it isnt real heavy with coriander makes me like it more. Very refreshing and enjoyable beer.

Bomber from Bevmo Encinitas. Shared with my gf Cyn paired with Vegan Rueben’s. Pours golden with a 1 finger bright white head. Gotta love the label no matter how the beer looks. Nose is sweet and light with a slight bit of spice. Taste is sweet light and spiced and is really seasonly appropriate and overall a very good wit. Deserves a higher than a 66 percent imo. Supremely sessionable

Pale with a nice white head. Aroma is fairly spicey with nutmeg and cinnamon aspects, wheat and yeast. Taste is nice and spicey would a nice yeastiness to it, simple and very pleasant. Would never get tired of this.

On tap at Newport Pizza and Ale house. Pours bright golden hue with good carbonation and a thin white head. Nose has a faint citrus and earthy note. Flavor is sweet with subtle spices and light grains underlying throughout. Mouthfeel is light and crisp and very refreshing. I found this wit to be very good and I will have it again!
