beerguy101 (3547), Newark, California, USA Aug 1, 2008 This witbeer pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrus, banana and clove. A medium bodied witbier. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are spicy. Lots of citrus and coriander flavors. Very lively carbonation. A nice light tasting and refreshing summer beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
fordest (1857), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Nov 20, 2008 22 oz bottle. Some sweet aromas with some floral notes. Flavors were not as sweet. Citrus and bright fruits but heavy on the wheat twang. Just okay. slimchill (694), Austin, Texas, USA Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Sweet coriander and somewhat chalky aroma. Clear for style, yellow with thin head. Dry and chalky, light coriander and very little citrus. Thin. Boring. presario (2501), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Nov 18, 2008 Clear gold. Very carbonated. Thin head. Nice light pepper aroma. Light pepper flavour builds to long lasting peppery aftertaste. (Soft table pepper) Like a peppery golden ale. Delirium (440), Santa Cruz, California, USA Oct 26, 2008 Bomber. Pours slightly hazy yellow-golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweetish malt, witbier yeast and spices, with quite a bit of coriander. Flavor is similar, with a noticeable bit of orange peel. Not going to win any excitement awards, but it all comes together nicely. anders37 (2834), Malmö, Sweden Oct 25, 2008 Draught @ Deschutes Brewery and Public House, Portland, OR.
