Deschutes Altitude Amber

On tap at the PDX pub. Pours light amber with a small white head. Fruity nose, sweet with caramel and citrus. Very floral amber, but with a heavy body. Some earthy spicy hops to the finish round it off with a crispness that eases some of the weight of the body. One of the best ambers i’ve had in a while.

Wildflower, honeysuckle, and orange blossom aroma, hazy burnt orange hue approaches pale yellow on the edges. Yummy happy goodness swings to caramel briefly and then back to rounded leafy hops. Intense across the board but not sharp or overpowering.
