On tap at the Deschutes Portland location. Colour... amber-orange with no head. Nose... musty malt and general grainy character. Palate... mildly bitter, some honeycomb as well as biscuit, some bitterness around the edges of the palate and a rather grain-like finish.

Half pint at the brewery - Aroma of sweet caramel, toffee and English hops. Flavor matches. Palate is clean with just a hint of bitterness. Another refreshing brew.

Cask at Deschutes Brewery and Public House in Portland. Slightly cloudy deep copper color with lace. Light aroma of hops and a bit of caramel; fruity. Good malty flavor, with toffee, tobacco, and decent bittering hops. Rather light. Decent.

On tap at Portland brewery. Pours a yellow orange with plenty of bubbles and a head that disappears quickly. Aroma is primarily of peppery hops with some malt. Taste is more of the same, spicy and peppery hops, a good blend with a slight bitter finish.

On tap at Portland location. Color was a bit hazy; amber. Aroma of caramel and fruit. Flavor of sweet malt, a good amount of fruit with some floral notes. For some reason I just did not find this all that great.

Draft at Bond street brewpub, tis poured a cloudy amber with small off-white head and good lacing. Big nose of caramel malts with floral hops. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is malty and bitter and so is the finish. A very drinkable beer.
