Is reminiscent of a British Pub bitter. The palate is a tad soft for a true bitter.

Bottle: Nice amber pour with a thin white head. Starts off with a malty sweetness and then lots of citrus and floral hops, plenty of bitterness in the end. Thanks, Leah!

Amber body. Aroma is light hops and caramel with some butterscotch notes. A mix of PNW and English hops made this interesting, but honestly at the time I would have preferred just English hops... since everything else in this state is loaded with PNW hops. Still, it’s a solid bitter.

Pour is nice deep copper with a big nice tan head...smell is fruity and malty with lots of grapes, apples, dough...taste is nice and sweet up front with lots of malts...a little toasty...finish is subtle and ibtter...something is a tad sour, but I can’t but my finger on a flavor...nice overall!

Clear amber colored beer out of the big bottle with a yellowish frothy head that left clumps of sticky lace on the glass. Raw grain nose. Very bready malts with a lot of fruit notes of apple, pear and apricot, with a grainy aspect. The hop presence is floral, with some orange rind bittermess in the finish, but actually more subtle than I expect in a PNW bitter. This would be a good everyday drinker, and goes well with a sandwich.
