| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 4, 2006 Amber body. Aroma is light hops and caramel with some butterscotch notes. A mix of PNW and English hops made this interesting, but honestly at the time I would have preferred just English hops... since everything else in this state is loaded with PNW hops. Still, it’s a solid bitter. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Clear amber colored beer out of the big bottle with a yellowish frothy head that left clumps of sticky lace on the glass. Raw grain nose. Very bready malts with a lot of fruit notes of apple, pear and apricot, with a grainy aspect. The hop presence is floral, with some orange rind bittermess in the finish, but actually more subtle than I expect in a PNW bitter. This would be a good everyday drinker, and goes well with a sandwich.
