Nice beer. Earthy, grassy hop aroma. Nice white head with some lacing. Rich hoppy flavor with some caramel and some biscuit. Rich and creamy. Delicious.

Bond Street Bottle (BBD 07/29/05)-Only previously available on tap at the brewery, where I last had it: The nose has that typical Deschutes cookie/doughy hint, also includes some caramel sweetness and very slightly spicy hops; modest flavors going on with this one, well balanced and a tad bitter in the finish. Decent session brew.

Bottle: Bright amber color with a dense off-white head. Malty, toffee aroma with notes of apricot and pear. Lightly sweet malts with the faintest hint of cinnamon, finishing with some crisp English hops. Well balanced and drinkable.

Very little mouthfeel at all. No Brussels lace on the glass. A decent bitter aftertaste, but not what you’d expect from a true bitter. Light hop floral aroma with some citrus scent. This beer was much better on tap. Kinda disappointing...

Light copper with a big head. Strong cookie aroma. Sweet mild flavour. Very nice to style although I prefer a slightly meatier ESB.

New in 22oz bottles. Pours a light amber with a tall white head. This brew showed a big metallic note to the fruity malt character. Lots of notes of apricot showed through with a nice hopping in the nose and the long trailing bitter finish.

Bottle (Bond Street Series): Translucent amber, orange biased, mediocre foamy head, off-white, enjoyable lacing, moderate carbonation.   Soft sweet spruce nose, subtle hop presense.   Minor grain/malt twang.   Malty forefront, quickly dissipates on a soft bed of bitterness.   Mild smoke, nearly bordering on ashtray.   Abrubt finish, clean, lingering bitterness.   Average body and mouthfeel.   Enjoyable.

Sampled draught at Deschutes Public House, Bend
Amber color with no head or lacing. Nose of very light hops, sweet & savory. Flavor is lightly bitter with a balanced maltiness to it. The hops are lighter than the original but it’s damn tasty either way
