May 14, 2008 On tap. Dark black brown body with a creamy head that is slightly darker than guinness. Nose is roasted and chocolate and some coffee. Taste is about the same. This beer is highly quaffable and feels soft in the mouth.

May 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours an almost black color with a small off-white head. Long roasted malty chocolate aroma with some hints of coffee. Sweet and smooth roasted malty flavor with lots of chocolate and some hints of coffee. Has a smooth roasted malty finish with chocolate in the aftertaste.

May 7, 2008 Pours black with a small head. Aroma is faint and has a little light rasted malt and cocoa. Flavor has some malt, citrus, and mineral notes and a little apple or other fruity sweetness.. Mothfee is watery, esp. for a porter. Finish, oddly enough, brings out the most flavor and is like roasted malt and cocoa.

May 5, 2008 I’m a big fan of this porter. Pours dark with a very nice red amber hue to it. Head is thick, but very small. Goes down sweet, finishes with a roasted chocolate/coffee flavor and settles on the palate very well. Pour into a very frosty glass for best flavor.

Apr 28, 2008 Pretty decent porter. Flavor is sweet, malty, and enjoyable. However, not much of an aroma or palate. Pretty good draught brew.
