Pretty decent porter. Flavor is sweet, malty, and enjoyable. However, not much of an aroma or palate. Pretty good draught brew.

Not my favorite porter by any stretch. This has a pretty massive malt background, to me this was a little too agressive, graham cracker maltiness, with some strong licorice notes that really put off my palate.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Black colour with frothy, pale brown head. Roasted, malty nose with chocolate and slightly citrussy notes of hops. Roasted, malty taste with chocolate, caramel, toffee, liquorice, cola and balanced amounts of citrussy hops in the finish. Balanced and nice beer.

Btl. Initially sweet and acidic, with candy/fruit undertones. Mellows shortly thereafter. Sweet aftertaste. Small, somewhat hallow mouthfeel. Overall a very good beer.

A quintessential PNW porter. Poured a dark brown-black body with a small grey-brown top. Roasty, malty, and nicely hopped with residual yet balanced bitterness. Creamy, silky, robust mouthfeel. All around, a great brew!

This was the beer that introduced me to the Pacific Northwest. Pours fairly dark, though some light is able to pass through. Roasty, toasty malts give way to a mildly hoppy finish and the slightest twinge of alcohol if I pay attention. Very solid porter that’s incredibly drinkable.

bottle on 4/11/08. pours a deep brown / light black with a solid 1/2" tan head. moderate malty aromas and some chocolate. Very nice on the palate... smooth and somewhat creamy... little carbonation. Nice bitter finish which sticks with you a little bit. Excellent session beer...
