Pours a dark brown with minimal head. Has a dark fruit, mocha, dark chocolate smell. The taste is much the same with a dark malts/chocolate taste. Thick and chewy, this is a great bargain beer.

Bottle sample thanks to Adil- Pours deep brown letting in just a bit of light. Has a frothy mocha cap that lasts. The aroma was intense mocha, coffee, dark chocolate, and quite roasty. Tasted of black coffee with dark chocolate, bitter roasty dark malts, a bit slight milk chocolatey sweetness helps round out the bitterness. Solid long lasting finish leaves me wanting more. Quite a treat. Thanks Adil!

Wow... just wow... Gorgeous mocha coffee aroma. Nice black in color with an awesome dark chocolate and licorice flavor. Like I said, wow, just wow.

black with some ruby highlights. Sweet malts, a little hops. quite a typical porter aroma, not overly impressive. Typical sweet porter flavour with some coffee notes. Thick and chewy. As with many american craft "porters" it has qualities of a stout and of a porter. Pretty good but i generally dont apreciate this much roastiness in a porter.

Thanks to beeruser for this one. Pours cola brown with an off-white head. Nose is dark chocolate, roast, cocoa, coffee, bitterness, and earth. Flavor is balanced and lovable chocolate, cocoa, earth, and roasty coffee. Excellent coffee, roasty, somewhat dry chocolate porter.

Dark Brown with copper tones and beige head. Nutella and a little caramel on the nose. Taste is more of the nutella, with a pleasant bitter stone fruit finish and just a hint of dark coffee. Really good stuff.

Bottle. Pours a dark ruby color and a foamy beige head. Aroma is somewhat smoky, nutty, and coffee. Flavor is smoke, ash, nicotine. Almost more of a smoked than a porter. Creamy mouthfeel with some bubbles.
