Mar 30, 2008 Poured deep brown with small brown head. Aroma of malt and not to much else. Flavor was terrible. For a minute I thought I was drinking out of a drity creek or something. One of the worst porters i’ve encountered.

Mar 29, 2008 Pours a deep brownish black with a foamy tan head. Aroma of roasted barley, malt and chocolate. Goes down easy with a nice bitter chocolate, sour, toasted barley flavor. Pretty nice porter.

Mar 24, 2008 Poured from bottle black with a tan head. Aromas of roasted grains and warmed chocolate. The beer tastes of toatsted grains, roast coffee and, on the sweeter side, bittersweet chocolate. There is a smooth almost creamy malt mouthfeel, yet it’s easy to drink with subtle bitterness. I’ll be buying this one again.

Mar 20, 2008 On tap at Wolfgang Puck’s at the MGM Grand casino. Black body with yellow and red hues and a light brown head. Sweet chocolate and malt aroma. Smooth cocoa taste with notes of caramel and toffee. Medium-bodied, with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Clean finish with a slight coffee aftertaste.
