Poured a dense black with a light brown at the very bottom of the glass, good size cardboard toned head. Cocoa and malty aromas. Tastes or strong roasted malts balance by chocolate and caramel characters. Slight metallic finish but not overpowering. jason (1624), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma was sweet with the crystal malt coming through. Flavor was of coffee, roasted malt and only a bit of chocolate. Decent mouthfeel, nothing remarkable. A nice, drinkable middle of the road porter. coldbrewky (736), Saugerties, New York, USA

She lovingly brought me back a 6er of this and 5 other types of brewky from the pacific NW. I knew there was a reason I kept her. A near photon eating stout.that pours with a crisp bitterness to the aroma and forms a thick tasty head that sticks to your soul. Slob will tell you that I’m a fool for the chocolate and blpatent malts and if you are like me you’lll enjoy this here critter. Anglofile (135), Piti, Guam
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours nearly black with a small head that quickly disappears leaving thin lacing around the glass. Aroma is chocolatey with hints of coffee and nuttiness. Flavor is chocolate malt and very roasty. Palate is much more dry than I anticipated. A little flat, but that’s often what you get in Guam. This brew is delicious. lipscomb216 (78), USA

It has notes of coffee and chocolate in the nose, and a distinct overall dark brown color. Taste of chocolate and coffee with slight carbonation and a thin mouthfeel. Excellent. Would definitely drink all I could get my hands on.
