Roasty nose with coffee, cocoa, and burnt sugar. Taste is slightly sweet and roasty but very drinkable. Ober (1232), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands

Mild, sweet aroma. Has the chocolate and coffee notes you’d expect with a smooth, full mouthfeel. Overall, a very good example of the style. Scauca (414), Lovere, Italy

Poured black color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate chocolate and roasted coffee aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium sweet creamy chocolate coffee flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
Solid drinkable brew that I would recommend to a freind. AndrewC (70), Canterbury, Kent, England

Black, bitter, carbonated (which is a really shame; why not bottle condition it and give it some life). Bit of liquorish and mellow pepper. Bit of soot and hint of sourness. Nice but the dead carbonation kills it a bit. Tweety (344), Vancouver, Washington, USA
