Commercial Description:
Our Bock is brewed following the German Bock tradition. The use of German, British and domestic malts, a German Lager Yeast, as well as Nobel hop varieties, predominately Saaz & Sterling, create a traditional Bock. Lagered for 8 weeks, this bock is smooth with a nice creamy head, a malty sweet body and slight hop finish. March/April - now in 22oz bottles.

Gorgeous mahogany amber bodied brew with a pleasing malt flavor w. candi underlining and some smokiness. Decent, but not cloying, candi malt flavor. Very well balanced. Would consider this more akin to a winter warmer than a bock on tasting alone.

[GABF, Denver Co - 2006] Dark brown in color with a rich malty flavor. This had a lot of great spices and subtle hops flavors this was a great beer. Can’t wait to drink more this fall and winter.

22oz bomber-Brown body with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt. Taste of malt in the middle then goes more roasted. Good bock since I don’t care for this style.

From kenb I think. Brownish dark amber brew with just a little bit of foam bubbles. This was a syrupy brew with some caramel toffee aromas but not much on the hoppy side at all. I drank about half of this as I just couldn’t get the flavor to agree with me.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with an ivory colored head. Fruity, caramel aroma with noticeable sulfur esters. Sweet and malty with slight fruit flavoring as well as slight notes of banana. Slight alcohol presence.

Thanks to Kenb for this brew. Pours out a ruby hued brown with some rich light roasted malt nose. The taste is smooth with a nice sized and textured head. The flavor is complex with some notes of toffee and some toasty caramel and maybe a touch of smoke here and there. Very solid beer even if this isnt’ my favorite style.

Tasted 23/09/2006. 22oz bottle from BrewNZ. Deep garnet red with a disappearing tan head. A litle cinnammon on the nose at first, then a rich underbelly of toasty continental-style malts, a little wood, tea, and a drop of alcohol. Sweet sappy malts, slightly caramlised and toasty, dominate the flavour with a light spiced hop note in the finish. At first I thought it was a little short but I dismiss this thought as I drink and the warming notes linger. A soft beer - lightly carbonated and medium weight. A little past its best but this beer is simple, elegant and most enjoyable.
