Commercial Description:
Our Bock is brewed following the German Bock tradition. The use of German, British and domestic malts, a German Lager Yeast, as well as Nobel hop varieties, predominately Saaz & Sterling, create a traditional Bock. Lagered for 8 weeks, this bock is smooth with a nice creamy head, a malty sweet body and slight hop finish. March/April - now in 22oz bottles.

Dark brown with an off white head that leaves with a quickness. A couple of small spots of lace. Slightly sour aroma of malts and earthy qualities. The flavor is sharply bitter with some malts. Mostly caramel. The earthy qualities are found here as well. The mouthfeel is light and smooth finishing off with bittering hops.

Dark amber with a quickly fading small head. Light sweet malty aroma. This one just isn’t doing it for me.

Dark amber with little to no head. Very light roasted nose. Flavors of molasses, light coffee and hints of chocolate covered raisins. Very nice and clean finish.

Crystal clear red/brown with little head. Big malt aroma with a fruity edge and raisens and chocolate. Quite sweet. Low carbonation. Decent malt flavor, though somewhat simple. Fruity in flavor with dusty cocoa and some acrid notes. Amazingly watery for how sweet it is. Finishes clean. The last bock I had was Anchor and it was in a whole different league.

Pours a dark mahogany with copper hues and a frothy light tan head. Aroma of sweet toasty dark caramel malt and a good German lager yeast strain with some milk chocolate. Body starts somewhat fizzy with an earthy malty sweetness, some nutty notes and a smooth milk chocolatey finish. Nicely balanced and very authentic.

Bottle from Daanen’s in Hayden. Big fluffy off-white head. Dark copper beer. Malty aroma with a hint of spices. Malty flavour. Sweet with a light spiciness. The spice makes it more introspective than a brown for the patio.

Pours deep dark brown with a red glow. No head, mild carbonation. Has that classic dry, crisp, grassy lager aroma with a little bit of honey. Wow, this brew tastes great. Starts off a bit mild flavored and then the malt creeps in. Slight bitter chocolate flavor comes through. Finishes with a very light burnt aftertaste. One of my favorite parts about this beer is the mouthfeel. The carbonation of the medium body and mild effervescence makes this beer feel so smooth and creamy in the mouth. Props.
