12 oz bottle. Pours a medium brown with a big head that dissipates quickly. Sweet malty aroma. Big fruity flavor...cherries? Caramel and nutty malts are also present. I bit thin, but still a interesting brown.

Pours a beautiful brownish amber color w/ a medium sized, semi creamy froth. Superb head retention w/ a lingering full canopy and sticky lace. Aroma of brisk malts. Light to medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Texture of creamy cotton balls. Strong flavors from the malt spectrum w/ a mild roast component. Bright caramel and brown sugar meet a balancing leather factor. Hop rate is moderate. Theres a slight bubblegum dust essence. Mildly fruity. The finish is bittered nicely. A solid Brown Ale.

2007 Bottle: Pours a nice amber-brown color with a slightly off white creamy head that lasts. Strong aroma of biscuits and...fruit?? Very fruity aroma that seems odd. The flavor is very malty with the biscuit and fruit flavor. Luckily it is mostly a really nice toaty biscuit and carmel flavor but with definite fruit esters. No noticeable hops. Fairly light on the palate and mellow. I would rate this higher except the fruit seems so out of place.

Draft. Clear, burnt amber color with an ivory head. Fruity malt aroma. Malty with tons of fruit. Mostly Strawberries, watermelon…mostly. Clean finish.

Copper colored, with a decent head, somewhat malty, fruit flavors, light roasted malts, easy drinking, not bad, something I could drink often. I enjoyed it!

Dark brown color, diminishing head. Typically nutty in the nose, with a hint of hopping. Flavor is somewhat nutty, and quite sweet. Mostly malt, with a somewhat grainy flavor. Not much in the way of hops, and way too thin. A rather sub-par release from one of my favorite breweries.

Purs red-brown with off white head. Aroma is breaddy. The taste is of Toasted malts with lots of hops, kinda different for a brown ale. The body is pretty thin.

Bottle. Hmm was a bit disappointed in that one. It pours with a more orange color, with aromas of fruit. Flavors are lacking the malt component for a brown ale, it is overhopped. In addition it is too thin bodied. Expected more.
