12 oz bottle: poured hazy caramel brown with just a wisp of a tan head. Light hairspray aroma at first ending in a mild cookie-like smell. Nutty flavor with a touch of roasted malt and dough. Pretty tasty.

Pours a three finger light tan head that fades slowly leaving traces of lace. Deep mahogeny color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Slight metallic nose. Starts nutty/hoppy, more hops midway, slight bitter/hoppy aftertaste. $1.30 for a 12oz bottle from Liquid Solutions Tigard, Or.

Bottle: Courtesy of DarkElf via trade. Aroma of chocolate, grains, nuts, caramel, and a hint of grass. Pours a dark transparent amber with slight touch of haze and a moderate off-white head that lasts a minute or so. Sporadic lacing. Flavor is very nutty from start to finish with strong chocolate and caramel backbone. Hints of grain and a light grassy bitter finish. Mouthfeel is a tad watery with light carbonation. Nothing special, but solid for a brown ale.

Medium brown color with a respectable off-white head. Nose is of nuts, caramel, and some bread. Flavor is dominated by the roasty, nutty malts at first then fades into subtle creamy sweet caramel and a mild hop bitterness. Texture is wonderfully thick and creamy for a brown ale. Thanks to Indiana_Red for the bottle. Delicious.

Cool dark amber color, thick rich foamy tan head. Cold maple syrup, almost burnt bread aromas. Smooth and easy to drink. A little bitterness in the finish. Nice brown.

This is a very good spring seasonal. Nice dark color but very light in the mouth. Very easy to drink. This beer has a very short season of availability so if you see it, buy it!
