Blah. A boring and bland brown ale via trade with Chewy. Happy to try it, though. Aroma was weak. Mostly alcohol and medicine. Pour was a nice enough thin clear light brown with a one finger light tan head. Taste was thin and watery with not much flavor other than light alcohol and grains. Nice carbonation and would be a good session beer with more flavor. I would not expect to taste alcohol in a 4.*% beer.

Pours with a dark brown hue with no head whatsoever. Aroma is of dark fruits, soil, mocha, and some barley. Flavor is somewhat watery, smoky - there are some hints of barley and whole grains in the flavor as well. Light - medium mouthfeel with lively carbonation.

Bottle. Pours with a tan head and an amber brown body. Good lace. Aroma of hops, vanilla, maple, nuts and light spice. Taste is nutty with maple and molasses. Light bubbles dryish. Solid like all of Deschutes’s stuff, but some what forgettable.

Aroma’s floral, color is light copper/brown. Initial taste has cascade hops and some light malty sweetness. All in all, not amazing - the malt isn’t special at all. But a tasty session beer nonetheless.

A very average brown, nothing too entirely special. Enjoyable, a little sweet, a bit nutty. I kind of wish there was something more to this beerso ypou

12 oz bottle. Pours a light brown with a creamy light tan head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet roasted grains and cola.

The flavor is sweet sugary nutty malts and cola, with some light acidic bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a little sharp carbonation.

Overall, I don’t really care for the sweet nutty browns.

A pretty good brown. Little bit of a bitter aftertaste. Long lasting head. Thumbs up...
