Apr 3, 2005 IMO, the best beer Deschutes brews. Clean fresh every time. Served at the right temp, it’s a fantastic beer.

Jan 22, 2005 Nice and pleasant herbal hop aroma. Light golden in color with a tiny haze. Crisp and quick flavor, nicely hopped, refreshing, slight caramel tang at the swallow. This beer dances on your tongue. It is a nice beer and unfortunately rated too low - sometimes we have to look at the beer in its style not compared to Ruination. For a golden ale it is exceptional.

Oct 4, 2003 Pours a nice amber color with just a little head that goes away quickly leaving almost no lace.
Smells floral and a bit malty but only the slightest hint of hops.
Taste is good. It's almost like a Mirror Pond without as much hops. It's a little bready, too.
Mouthfeel is much fuller than I was expecting. Drinkability scores high because it's light and refreshing plus has a relatively low alcohol content (4.5%). I could easily drink these all night long.
Yet another good offering from my favorite brewery.

Jan 20, 2006 Clear gold with a thick, fluffy head and nice lacing...lovely biscuity-citrusy aroma with some interesting additional citrus notes Very .creamy body, honeyish, lightly fruity, turning quite dry and crisp to finish...full but not heavy mouthfeel with perfect carbonation....pretty damn good.

Aug 29, 2005 Smells and looks quite nice for the style. This is a nice soli ale, aptly described on its label. A pleasant blend of hops and malt - truly great for the style. Perhaps too malty, but still worth a try.
