Commercial Description:
Cascade Ale is crisp and refreshing. Generous herbal hop character and just a hint of caramel malt create a perfect balance.

Strikes a good balance between hops and malts. Good aroma. Smooth aftertaste.

IMO, the best beer Deschutes brews. Clean fresh every time. Served at the right temp, it’s a fantastic beer.

Nice and pleasant herbal hop aroma. Light golden in color with a tiny haze. Crisp and quick flavor, nicely hopped, refreshing, slight caramel tang at the swallow. This beer dances on your tongue. It is a nice beer and unfortunately rated too low - sometimes we have to look at the beer in its style not compared to Ruination. For a golden ale it is exceptional.

Pours a nice amber color with just a little head that goes away quickly leaving almost no lace. Smells floral and a bit malty but only the slightest hint of hops. Taste is good. It's almost like a Mirror Pond without as much hops. It's a little bready, too. Mouthfeel is much fuller than I was expecting. Drinkability scores high because it's light and refreshing plus has a relatively low alcohol content (4.5%). I could easily drink these all night long. Yet another good offering from my favorite brewery.
