Commercial Description:
Cascade Ale is crisp and refreshing. Generous herbal hop character and just a hint of caramel malt create a perfect balance.

What is this? Certainly not one of Deschutes greater achievments. A mild summer beer that is excellent for drinking when it’s hot out or whiles fishing or something. A terrible beer for sitting down and analyzing. The only thing I liked was the refreshing crisp bite present in the mouthfeel. Get something else please. This has potential, but need refining. Worth trying once.

Will it suffice to say that this is the 2nd worst beer Deschutes has ever bottled? It suffices for me!

Bottled at SBWF08. pours out in a hazy amber colour with a small white foam. Clean floeral and caramely aroma with notes of straw. Medium to light-bodied with notes of caramel and mild lemon. Short medium-bitter finish of nuts and lemon.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh and almost perfumy aroma hops. Medium-bodied with a light carbonation, sweetish caramel and a discreet nuttiness. Dry and lightly bitter finish. A good session beer. 180908

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and straw as well as lighter notes of grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin.
