The aroma is sweet caramel malts balanced with a nice raw and green hoppiness along with some tea-like notes.
The flavor is nutty caramel malts initially leading to a surprisingly big (for an amber) and raw and citrusy bitterness. The finish is bitter but also crisp. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and has just the right amount of carbonation.
Overall a surprisingly good amber, the best I’ve had to date. This would make an excellent session beer.

Balanced very well between the sweetness and spicy flavor. Beer flows well from start to the mild hop finnish Nice and refreshing. jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 27, 2009 Appearance: Pours a dark, clear auburn with a 1/4 inch of creamy white suds.
Aroma: Faint aromas of piny hops and bready yeast.
Taste: A touch of sweet malt and bread flavors followed by a sturdy level of bitter hops.
Mouthfeel: Deceivingly heavy. It hits my tongue as thin, but as I inspect further, it seems full bodied and heavy.
Overall: A well crafted, hoppy ale. Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA
