Commercial Description:
A medium bodied amber ale, Cinder Cone Red has a rich malt flavor and red color derived from four kinds of caramel malt with a hint of dark roasted barley. Amarillo and Tettnang hops balance the toffee sweetness, creating a refreshing full hop flavor. Available January through June.

12 oz bottle. Clear, rich copper color with a hoppy aroma that oozes slowly from the bottle. Taste is caramel and hops with some rich molassas. Nice and zippy for a red. Medium bodied with a clean finish.

A mild hop and tea aroma. Pours a medium/dark amber body with a rocky, off-white head. The flavor is carmel and toast with a hop finish that has a tea taste. Medium body. Would definately make a good session brew. Thanks Crosling!

[Bottle] A good dark red color to this beer. Starts off with a flavorful aroma and gave a wonderful flavor of hops and malts. Loved the hint of spices I could taste. Deschutes makes such a great product.

This is a decent amber. Pours reddish/orange. Has a floral, earthy grassy, aroma. Flavor is somewhat chewy. Nutty, Toffee, carmel, and sweet malt. Hops make their presence known. I will admit I am not a huge amber fan. But this is good.

12 oz bottle. Aroma sweet , malt and hint of toffee. Amber body with off white head and some lacing. Flavor had a sticky sweet malt with some caramel and mild to medium bitterness. Left a dry bitter aftertaste on the palate. Decent brew

Clear reddish amber color with a frothy ivory head. Malty aroma with some fruitiness, maybe melon. Flavors of toffee and some rosted malt with just enough hops to balance the sweetness without being noticable. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. This would make a great session beer.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Beautiful, warm, clear amber with an off-white head. Lightly sweet caramel aroma. Medium body with dry notes of caramel and a fairly hoppy finish. Well crafted. 290307
