Deschutes Gosche Sterling

Floral and somewhat vegetal aroma. Some obvious strong sweetness too. Orange pour with no head. Flavors of orange marmelade candy kind of. Some light floral/earthy hops in the finish. This bores me.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a somewhat candied-looking, slightly luminescent medium amber with tangerine-like overtones. Headless, laceless. Looks a bit shiny and sticky. Sweet, cloying nose. Floral and a bit of tangy candy. Sticky, low-carb body, a bit too thick for this level of complexity (either make it more interesting or make it easier to drink). Sticky and sweet with a bit of earthy, herbal hop toward the end. This beer really has no idea what it’s trying to be.

Mobile rating. Lightly hazed orange amber body. Sweet sugared chamomile and herbal coriander candy sugar, medium body but sticky - coating the mouth with a filmy and oily fluid. Sweet herbal soap - too heavy. Fresh and lively, effervescent. Good in small doses
