Bomber thanks to Kenb. Pours a deep coppery amber with a nice fluffy lasting head and solid lace- looks good for an amber. Aroma is very green- earhty spicy hops and quite grassy which was a turn off combined with a sharp deep crystal malt character- some cheesiness. Flavor is a bit off as well- more grassiness, some c-hops and wierd earthy and tea--like dirty english style hops. Crystal hops dont come through as much, or it was an off harvest- a little herbal and garlic as well. Astringent finish. Meh.

22 ounce bottle. Aroma initially has some pine and metallic hop aroma, which dissipates. It is then followed by a somewhat herbal nose with some caramel malt notes. Rather quaffable. Transparent copper-colored body with an off-yellowish head that is rather large, and strong. Leaves nice lacing. Starts creamy, caramelly, with some cereal and toasted maltiness present. Nice and grainy. Finishes with a bit of lemony citrus astringency and a little metallic hoppiness. A solid, yet not spectacular, easy-drinking brew.

Bomber. Pours clear bright copper with a fluffy off-white head that produces sheets of lace. Soft and sweet citrus caramel nose. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Sweet and nutty taste, and some citrus and fruit carry through. Maybe some butter, but I’m not willing to swear to that. A nice bit of grapefruit pith on the dry finish.

Big malty profile finishing with a perfectly balaced citrusy hop ending. Toasty caramel presence, floral and crisp finish.

Bottled. 354 07 10011
Beer is clear, medium-dark amber brown. Head is larger than average, light brown, frothy, quickly diminishing but ultimately lasting. Specks of sticky lacing on the glass.
The aroma is malty with a moderate note of warm, toasted wheat bread, light flickering notes of caramel and shortbread; Hoppy with a moderate herbal note, light grassy, brewed tea notes; Yeasty with a light-to-moderate note of damp cement/ozone-laced basement.
The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, lightly-to-moderately acidic with a long, light-to-moderately bitter, lightly acidic finish. Bitter aftertaste grows, endures, shifts from front to back of the tongue. Neat
The body is medium, the texture is watery and the carbonation is average.
Subtle but quite fetching and engaging. One of my favorite Ambers so far.

Poured a nice reddish-brown color with a good two-finger head. Big aroma of piney hops. Good amount of lacing. A bit on the sweet side but sweetness is offset mostly by hoppy bitterness. Not as cloying as many brown beers. A good session ale that probably has a lot of calories too. One of the best organic brews so far. Recommended.

22oz bottle Pours out a dark amber topped with a cream off white head. A nice aroma of earth (leafs and dirt) along with some malt. Tast of light hops and more earth fellings. A little bitter on the end pretty nice. This would have to be one of the best Organic brews i have had.

Tap @ Bardenay - I loved this beer. This is probably the lightest bodied Deschutes beer i’ve tasted, but by no means boring. Dark brown with little head, malt and mild hops on the front end, carmel citrus in the end. This is nothing to write home about, but great when you don’t have any idea what to expect.
