Aroma is a nice hop scent. Color is a bright clear amber with good carbonation a thin tight head. Taste is mildly roasted and hoppy. Starting with a medium body it goes down crisp with a clean feel. Finish comes in with a mild roasted malt flavor that has a slight sweetness to it then a nice hop flavor comes in back by a mellow bitterness. After taste is clean with the bitterness fading slowly. Its a nice Amber Ale and its better then there Cinder Cone Red.

Oct 11, 2008 Bottle courtesy of scrizzz. Pours a pretty clear deep red with a small white head. Flavor of sweet malt and light fruits. Flavor is light with nice fruitiness. Also a light spiciness that is really tasty. Definitely the best organic beer I’ve had (it’s a short list, but still). Nice amber with a spicy kick.

Oct 11, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of fresh, crisp, leafy greens, coffee-ish notes, caramel malt (increasing with time), sour apple, maybe a touch of pine? Flavor malty with a spicy hop edge and a good deal of earth. Very nice beer, and the first organic brew (admittedly out of VERY few) that has impressed me.

Sep 26, 2008 Very solid organic ale, hops balance and lend a small nip at the end. Also just a pretty pour.

Sep 19, 2008 Pours a hazy dark amber color from the bottle with an off-white head. Smells of appleseed and taste of red apples, caramel, and slight butter. Probably the best organic brew I’ve yet to taste.

Sep 2, 2008 I would never have purchased this beer, but found it in my 6 pack of Mothership Wit. I hate "organic" on a beer label. Classified as an amber but drinks like an IPA. Citrus "northwest" profile. Common for a micro.
