One of my favorites from Oregon Brewer’s Festival 2009. I don’t know how good it is in the bottle, but the sample I had was excellent. Very smooth and well balanced with superior tasting hops - like Stone Levitation Ale (nearly).

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear orange copper with a medium frothy white head that leaves good sticky white leacing along the glass. The aroma is a floral hop wet bread and caramel. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop with light grain and caramel with a nice bitter finish. Easy to drink, a good amber ale from Deschutes.

An amber beer with a small head. The aroma was malty, subtle fruitiness, with a mild bitter finish. I guess I can feel good about Mother Earth after drinking this.

Clear orange amber color, thin white soapy head.  A pretty beer, really.  Aroma of stinky hops a la body odor.  Flavor of pronounced hops, yet mellow and smooth with a light sweetness.  More BO in the finish.  Light bitter pucker on aftertaste.  Not much malt presence, mostly hops, leaving you with a clean, fresh hopped experience.  They should make a bath soap out of this.

Really nice dark cloudy amber in color. Clean minty hops flavor and aroma. A decent effort.

Draught at the Portland location. Much better than expected honestly. I was expecting some timid amber ale that they slapped "ORGANIC" onto for driving up sales. Rather flavourful and I appreciate the organic nod.

12oz bottle, purchased from Booze Bros. Pours a slightly hazy, bright orange-amber color; off-white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing; nice pour. Solidly bitter aroma of citrus and earthiness, with a nicely balancing, juicy mixed-fruit core; I’m getting a bit of maraschino cherry note as well. Beautiful presence in the mouth: this is very crisp, very refreshing, very balanced, with expressive carbonation, generous citrus and earthy hoppiness; just a perfect mouthfeel, pleasant bitterness, and a malty fruitiness underneath that’s just enough; really impressed by this beer. Medium finish: toasty, dry, and a bit of lasting mineral bitterness.

Pours a deep amber with a foamy off white head. Aroma is hops, malts. Flavor is malt, caramel, grass, fruit, touch of carmelized banana not sure what’s up with that. Interesting, but not very compelling.

Not anything spectacular or fancy, but this is a very drinkable beer - good for the 100 degree Nevada heat in which it was consumed. Flavor is caramel and citrus hops - predictable, but enjoyable nonetheless.
