ratman197 (2276), Arvada, Colorado, USA Feb 15, 2006 Bomber poured a hazy copper with a large, lasting amber head. Aromas of Hops, lots o’ hops citrusy and piney all my favorite hops! Palate was medium bodied, dry and resiny. Flavors of Hops piney, citrusy and even earthy!also a hint of carmel with a dry, lingering pleasently bitter finish! An outstanding IPA!!!
doboy (67), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Aug 4, 2008 Shared with Steve, CelticBrew and the Baron of Beer, DrBayern. Poured with a great head, nice lace on the glass. It was a clean light copper color. The mouthfeel was just right. IT had a good bittering of hops on the finish. Rogueone (365), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA May 27, 2008 One of my favorite beer labels so far. Bottle: Pours a luminous orange with thick and frothy white head. Earthy, fresh-squeezed hop bouquet with toffee undertones. Stinging bitterness on the palate, but finishes with some caramel malt. Overall, extremely hopped. bsierra (166), Vista, California, USA May 14, 2008 On draft at Newport Pizza and Ale house. Pours a deep orangy hue with a powerful citrus hop nose. The taste was very hop forward with pineyness, hops, and grapefruit throughout. The end is crisp and smooth, this was a very good IPA, sorry to see it retired~ blackmurder (164), sadf, Hawaii, USA May 8, 2008 This one was just too hoppy for me. It was a good one to check out but nothing about it jumped out at me. It’s like the Ninkasi beers, just way overly hopped. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Apr 29, 2008 From the 2006 release - This is quite a delicious IPA. I love it when I pop a top and the aroma quickly fills the air with citrusy goodness, fresh and very clean, with a bitter bite initially on the palate, this beer really takes hold of your palate, but is smoothed out with a strong malt backbone to hold everything together.
