| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2008 22oz bottle. Orange amber color with a sticky head and some sediment in the last pour. malty aroma for the most part, but a nice citric hop quality blends in the background, despite this being way beyond the age where you would expect the fresh hops to still make an impact. The flavor is a clean, fruity maltiness with a little hop balance. Almost falls on the less hoppy English side after all these months. Nice fruitiness adds character. This is definitely an elegant pale ale. Tastes quite malty and balanced with the time that has elapsed since last fall’s hop harvest, but still quite nice. I’ll definitely be getting some of this fresh when it comes out again. Nik925 (305), California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Typical IPA color with nice head. Nose of sweet malt, pine and floral hops...subtle though. Hops are fresh and more floral than on the nose, with rich hop feeling in the middle of the tasting. Finishes somewhat bitter, but in a nice balanced style. puggy211 (591), cordova, Tennessee, USA

Fresh hopy, citrus, pine, and caramel aroma. Not bitter, but very smooth and refreshing. Lots of fresh hop flavor, caramel, orange, pine and citrusvery nice! blankboy (3212), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 23, 2008 My bottle (22oz) shared with tupalev & GregClow -- courtesy of Kevin. Pours a hazy orange-amber with a large diminishing frothy white head. Big resiny hop aroma (fruity, floral and grassy!) along with caramel malt and some bread and toffee notes. Flavour follows the aroma and though it’s not as hoppy as I thought it would be based on the aroma, it’s very drinkable and quite tasty. Medium bodied. This is just so easy to drink, I could easily put down a few bombers of this. DuffMan (2766), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
