May 27, 2008 I very much enjoyed this, probably because it really hit the spot. Fresh hopy, citrus, pine, and caramel aroma. Not bitter, but very smooth and refreshing. Lots of fresh hop flavor, caramel, orange, pine and citrusvery nice!

May 23, 2008 My bottle (22oz) shared with tupalev & GregClow -- courtesy of Kevin. Pours a hazy orange-amber with a large diminishing frothy white head. Big resiny hop aroma (fruity, floral and grassy!) along with caramel malt and some bread and toffee notes. Flavour follows the aroma and though it’s not as hoppy as I thought it would be based on the aroma, it’s very drinkable and quite tasty. Medium bodied. This is just so easy to drink, I could easily put down a few bombers of this.

May 22, 2008 Bright orange, slightly hazy. Very fruity aroma, kumquat, lychee. Sweet malt, fruity and flowery hops, medium bitter finish. Refreshing and flavourful.

May 20, 2008 From bomber bottle. Pours an apricot color with a rocky cream head. Smells of rich pine, orange and grapefruit. Very nice! Features light carbonation, and the palate is light-medium in thickness. Very fresh taste of hops, orange marmalade, and some caramel malt. Finishes lightly bitter and dry. I thought the flavors could have been a little stronger, but overall this is quite enjoyable.

May 19, 2008 Bottle shared with tupalev and blankboy, courtesy of blankboy. Orange-amber with a large head. Big hoppy aroma - floral, candyish, tea-like, really nice. Medium bodied. Well-balanced flavour with some nice orange and tea notes from the hops. Really solid brew.

May 19, 2008 Bottle shared with GregClow and Blankboy, courtesy of Blankboy. Huge hop aroma, not resiny but rather fruity and almost floral. Dark orange pour with a good sized white/orange’ish head. Taste is subdued compared to aroma but still good - lots of hops, balanced well with the malt and an almost floral character to the whole thing. A nice Pale Ale, very drinkable.

May 15, 2008 Pours amber with a decent sized off white head. Floral and grapefruit aroma. I thought the sweet malt and honey flavor really dominated the hops in this beer. I thought something called Hop Trip would have a lot more bitterness to it. Still a solid beer, just not quite what I was expecting.

May 15, 2008 Bottle. Body-pretty amber body with a thick ring of bubbles and a thin film of bubbles. Nose-crystal malt, clear fresh hops, sweet honey. Taste-very medium hop aroma, light watered down soapy dishwater, medium bitter, low sweetness, light rust, fresh hay, grass, ultra watered down crystal malt, grapefruit, floral hops on the finish. Good flavor through and through that I like, but the finish is a bit on the dirty side. Good overall flavor but it finishes watered down.
