Killer aroma of big, fresh, floral hops. Floral and fruity, earthy and woodsy the aroma pretty much runs the gamut of hop aromas. Flavor is even better, with hop fresh hop flavors dominating. A little on the thin side, which I like in this type of beer. Dry, surprisingly clean finish. I really enjoyed this and wish I had more. jrob21 (1277), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 30, 2007 Bottle from Samurai Artist. This starts out like any great ipa with a clear copper color and a lasting white head. Grapefruit, straw, and a little bit o’ funk in the aroma. Flavor is hop forward with a bit of body and bitterness on the backside. I am a big fan of these beers right now so I’m a little biased. Even though it’s a bit one dimensional with the hops, it’s a fabulous dimension. FlagstoneHill (211), Erie, Colorado, USA
