Commercial Description:
Jubelale is classified as a "Strong Ale" or an "English Olde Ale," and has ties to the traditional Celebration Ales of England. Characterized by a very large malt body and pronounced bitterness, Jubelale contains five different varieties of hops and a healthy amount of caramel. The perfect ale for surviving the long, cold nights of winter. Our tradition is having a different local artist design our Jubelale label & packaging each year. October - December - draft and bottles

Sampled at Big Pour Mesa, AZ. Dark amber in color with a razor thin eggshell ring. Somewhat spicy, peppery, and malty. Just nothing that would make me go back for seconds. Underwhelmed.

pours dark brown with a plum tint and a small tan head. Aroma of mild malt hops and background fruits. and some nuttiness. Flavor is nutty malty and a little hoppy and some caramel and spring water taste. Mouthfeel is easy. Aftertaste is very nutty roasted caramel. A Christmas desert beer for sure.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a deep reddish brown with a few glints of ruby when held against light. Moderate off-white head that lasted through two-thirds of the glass and left a layer of foam with each sip. Very pleasant aroma of caramel, malt and brown sugar. The flavor is again caramel, malt and brown sugar, but not quite as rich and fulfilling as the aroma. Medium bitterness at the finish. A very solid beer.

Pours a dark brown with sparkling red highlights and a lacy tan head. Caramel malt, ripe fruit and a hint of spice in the aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet and fruity, with hints of malt, chocolate and spice. A good hoppy, though not overly bitter finish. Seriously not bad at all!

Great winter beer - probably the best winter seasonal from the Northwest breweries. Moderate head, minimal lacing, full body, great roasted malt aroma. Enjoy this beer on those cold winter nights when the wet snow is falling outside and you know you’re going to have to get up in the morning and shovel it.
