scottyg (79), Gainesville, Florida, USA May 1, 2004 I think this is a bit over rated at 85 %ile. I drank it after some good microbeers at Nimbus brewery in Tucson, and was a bit let down. Nonetheless, still a quality brew worth trying. Not your typical pale ale, and would be enjoyed more maybe outside on a cold night, rather than 85 degrees here in AZ.
BrownDogBeer (13), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 5, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a light brown amber with a fine head. Light body with vary little in the way of hops. had more a citrus flavor with a little carmal hidden in. travita (808), Lewisville, Texas, USA Dec 3, 2008 Copper colored and clear in look with a beige colored head. Smell is hops, malts, flowers, and sweet. Taste is hops, grass, flowers, light bitterness, and some malts. Not bad. gringo332 (129), Richardson, Texas, USA Dec 3, 2008 ours acopper orange with a tan headaroma of cascade and full malt nicely balanced slight bitterness on the tongue almost no real hop bite more like a copper ale than a pale in that regard good beer but not as strong in the flavor department as I prefer, possibly the lack ABV% results in less hop flavor to maintain the superior balance. Gypsy19 (255), AMERICA RISING, USA Nov 28, 2008 A decent pale ale, but by no means life-changing. Has a good alcohol burn, suprisingly, despite its tame 5.3%. Sweet on the nose and hearty in the mouth with the usual suspects present in an American pale ale along with an almost salty/beefy flavor in the background. Overall, good. I can dig it. fonefan (5558), Ulfborg, Denmark Nov 26, 2008 Bottle 355ml.
Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, grapefruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (050808)
